CARATTERISTICHE TESSITURALI E CHIMICHE DEI SEDIMENTI SUPERFICIALI NELL'AREA A BARRIERE ARTIFICIALI DEL "CAMPO SPERIMENTALE".

The characteristics of surficial sediments (grain size, porosity, organic carbon, total nitrogen and carbonate) have been analysed before and after the realisation of an artificial reef area "Campo Sperimentale in Mare" in Northern Adriatic. Sediment in the area is fine sandy-silt type due to the mixing between coastal sand and a finer fraction came from deposition and reworking of riverine material. No significant differences due to the presence of artificial reef were observed during a year time cycle, moreover a seasonal variability was present
