abstract:
Posidonia oceanica is an effective natural remedy against the erosion of coastal areas. It is narine phanerogam whose roots and rhizomes develop on the seabed and help to consolidate the sand. Some of these plants have been used to forest seabeds along Mediterranean coasts, which are constantly regressing because pollution. The first transplantation techniques have proved to be effective.
