Capturing wild relative and landrace diversity for crop improvement using a new selection tool to exploit genetic resources in durum wheat

The combine use of genomic and phenomic approaches allow the in depth characterization of a collection of genotypes of durum wheat representing the entire diversity present in germplasm collections of this species. The approach is proposed in order to overcome the problems inherent the large diversity present in germplasm collections of landraces and traditional varieties.
