The v3 Fundamental and Associated Hot Bands of Cyanogen Iodide by Diode Laser Spectroscopy

The infrared spectrum of ICN has been measured in the 2158 to 2189 cm-' region using a tunable diode laser spectrometer. The v1 fundamental band (C=N stretch) and the two associated hot bands 0 I ' 1-O 1 '0 and 10" 1 - 1 O"0 have been analyzed to obtain band origins and upper level rotational parameters.
