L'«offerta» di stato nell'agricoltura meridionale del primo ottocento: trasformazioni e vincoli

This article enlights the developing of the state politics in favour of the agricultural development in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies during the first half of the nineteenth century. Either in case of good results (like the introduction of the potato) or in that meagre results (like the attempt to develop the cotton plantations) the action of the state emerges as the major factor in the agricultural change during the period.
