Kovacs and inverse Kovacs effect in the optical scale-free regime

We demonstrate a Kovacs and inverse Kovacs effect in the optical response of out-of-equilibrium ferroelectrics by activating scale-free optical propagation and diffraction cancellation through small-amplitude temperature humps.
