Valutazione e Selezione di alcuni genotipi di Fava e Cicerchia

In the present work are reported the results obtained in recent trials of morpho-bio- agronomic and qualitative evaluation of 6 genotypes of faba bean and 2 of grass pea extracted from the core collections maintained at Bari gene bank. A brief descriptive schedule of each genotype is presented. The traits observed have been the following: flowering date, plant height, grain yield, biomass, 100 seeds weight, protein content and ODAP content. The data were submitted to the univariate analysis. The results have confirmed the competitiveness of these genotypes against the tester varieties encouraging their inscription into Varietal Register.
