Validated numerical results for 2D roll forced motion

The prediction of roll motion is one of the most difficult task in the analysis of the general motion of ships. Here we analyze 2D ship sections in order to understand the physical features developing in 3D. The choice of the radiation test allow a straightforward comparison with the numerical data.
