Abstract:
In this work the optical absorption properties of Ca-substituted yttrium iron garnet films are discussed. In particular the optical absorption of sputtered amorphous garnets film and the contribution of Ca-ions are analyzed. A comparison with the optical response of crystalline garnets is also made.
