Hollow fibers in micro- and ultrafiltration processes of the agrofood production

This chapter gives an overview of the typical applications of MF and UF membranes in HF configuration in specific areas of the agrofood production, such as fruit juice clarification, wine and beer processing, milk and dairy industry. The chapter also discusses their combination with other membrane unit operations aimed at the recovery of valuable compounds from agrofood processing wastewater.
