abstract:
The educational benefit of any technology is the result of the way we use it in the c1assroom; this is particularly true for hypertext applications, since they are based on very strong theoretical issues. With this in mind, a training mode! for teachers is proposed, that integrates specific activities to foster the comprehension of the theoretical aspects of the hypertext paradigm, and creates the potential for an effective approach to hypertext-based didactic activities in the c1ass. The focus ofthe paper is on the training activities that, in the author's experience, have proved to be extremely effective in training both new and experienced teachers.
