abstract:
Chemical preparation, crystal structure and vibrational study are reported on a new diphenylhydrazine dihydrogenophosphate (CHN)HPO (DPHDP) single crystal. This organic cationic diphosphate compound was synthesized by the method of ion exchange resin. (CHN)HPO crystallizes in the monoclinic system. The structural resolution shows the existence of HPO ion chains linked together by hydrogen bonds. The organic cations CHN and the phosphate chains are linked together by hydrogen bonds. The vibrational study by IR spectroscopy of the title compound reveals the presence of three bands and confirms the existence of non-equivalent positions of water molecules in the structure.
