Verbi sintagmatici: uso e 'abuso' fra studenti dai 9 ai 14 anni. I risultati di un esperimento

Italian, more than the other Romance languages, records in his its lexicon a great number of Syntagmatic Verbs (SV). Researches on this topic are still very few. As our research group has collated a linguistic repertoire corpus of about 270 Italian SV, it seemed important to investigate how these verbs are perceived and "thought" by Italian population. We have set up an experiment with a sample of Italian speaking children from different educational, cultural and social environment to understand the level of knowledge and competence in language exemplification on SV. We have prepared interviews (questionnaires) in which a portion of common and popular syntagmatic verbs were submitted to 9 - 14 children. Interviewees were asked to find and say or write, a suitable context for each proposed verb.
