The paper proposes a new interpretation of an episode of the hurro-hittite myth known as "Song of Ullikummi". The episode tells of the reaction of the Sun God when he sees Ullikummi, a giant stone monster created by Kumarbi to depose the Weather god Teshub from his supremacy. The paper analyzes the depiction of emotions, gestures, and nonverbal behaviors in this text, and considers the precise language depicting them.
