A phase sampling technique for pressure and flow fluctuation analysis

The sampling and analysis technique developed at INSEAN Circulating Water channel allowing a complete reconstruction of the hydrodynamic field in the stern region in function of the blade position is described in this paper. The most important noise sources in the propeller wake are pointed out crossin-correlating velocity and pressure.
