Microwave Pulse Compression and Reshaping at Low Level Input Powers Using Bright Surface Wave Solitons in YIG Film Delay Lines
Conference Paper
Publication Date:
1995
abstract:
The conditions for the excitation of surface magnetostatic wave envelope solitons will be discussed, and experimental evidence for solitonic propagation in a YIG film nonlinear transmission line will be given for a pure mode magnetostatic surface wave delay line. Application perspectives for pulse compression and signal to noise enhancement in the frequency range 2 GHz - 5 GHz will be analyzed.
