Classificazione a macchina del legname strutturale italiano. I risultati del progetto A.Pro.Fo.Mo.

Machine strenght grading of Italian structural timber. With the A.Pro.Fo.Mo. project (PSR 2017-2013, Misura 124, GAL Start, Regione Toscana) a new portable machine (VISCAN-portable) to strenght grade the Italian structural timber has been implemented and certified. A Comprehensive sampling of the main Italian timber species to be used as structural and the following mechanical tests formed the basis for the setting of the machine, that now can be used to apply the CE mark on spruce, fir, Douglas fir, black pine, european larch and chestnut of Italian origin.
