Biblioteca d'Alessandria: a peer-to-peer network for Scholar Knowledge Exchange

BdA is a system designed to create a p2p network for scientific-documents sharing. The key word is collaboration, to raise the level of connection between scholars and quicken the spread of breakthrough results in the network of European research and beyond. The system offers services tailored for the needs of the day-by-day research job and for the larger scope of research institution activities, allowing them to create self-managed institutional archives or to share already existing ones. Once an archive is built it is possible to attend, enhance and publish it with nothing but the researchers' PCs.
