Cercare lavoro nella grande città. Le strategie dei richiedenti asilo per la ricerca del lavoro

This volume is the result of a research conducted by Centro Studi Medì and supported by Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation. The goal was to examine and comprehend the way the two systems of reception and insertion of asylum seekers have been implemented inside the Ligurian context. The research took place in two distinct local areas: the small internal villages and the urban area of Genoa. Namely, the research has analyzed the various strategies adopted (or not) by two very different local contexts to respond to the challenges of reception. In the conclusions, the research proposes a summary which, starting from two such different areas, tries to identify some useful elements for intervention policies.
