Radiofrequency current drive in a weakly ionized plasma

Current drive by radiofrequency waves is considered for a preionization plasma. The ratio J/P of the driven current density and the absorbed power density is computed, taking into account both Coulomb and electronneutral collisions. A considerable modification of the fully ionized plasma case is found.
