Valutazione della biomassa di mitili (Mytilus galloprovincialis) ed ostriche (Ostrea edulis e Crassostrea gigas) nella Laguna di Venezia

A survey was carried out to evaluate mussel and oyster biomass in the Venice Lagoon. Three sampling methods were used: trawls with an oyster dredge in the lagoon channels, hauls with a hand rake in shallow areas and scraping of hard substrates by hand. The highest densities of mussels and oysters were recorded on the walls both outside the lagoon and inside the harbour.
