Caterina Llul i Sabastida: il suo spazio economico e familiare tra la Sicilia e la Catalogna della fine del XV secolo

In this study we show Caterina Llull i Sabastida's commercial activity, through the management of the port and the castle of Brucoli, beside the relational network she was able to create in the territory of the Camera reginalis. Through the story of this extraordinary Catalan merchant, we can analyze the economical space of Oriental Sicily in the end of 15th century and the protagonists of commercial exchanges during this period. Moreover, this study allows us to reconstruct some activities of the trading company that she kept doing after the death of Joan Torralba and Joan Sabastida
