CAMPIONAMENTO E METODI PER LA QUANTIFICAZIONE DEL GRADO DI LENTICITÀ-LOTICITÀ DELLE BIOCENOSI ACQUATICHE

Methods and tools are considered, some of which are in accordance with the D.L.vo 152/99 for the physico-chemical characterization of rivers. The IFF index, used to assess the overall quality of river sites is also presented. Different methods in the collection of benthic invertebrates, the AQEM and IBE methods, are described, along with the biotic indices (IBE, ASPT) calculated for representing benthic communities in a simple way. Furthermore, the LIFE index is described, which supports the interpretation of the benthic community structure in terms of its lentic-lotic character.
