Synthesis and Characterization of a Series of Homooligopeptide Peroxyesters.

A homologous series of stable N-alpha-phthaloyl peptide peroxyesters based on alpha-aminoisobutyric acid residues was prepared. In each of the six oligomers synthesized, the chain of alpha-amino acids is separated from the peroxyester function by a beta-amino acid.
