abstract:
The web is a social environment and is an opportunity to communicate. However, disable and elderly people are often excluded, unless designer will consider their needs since the early development stage. But accessibility is not just a technical issue. Sometimes difficulties arise from semantic misunderstandings. Therefore representing knowledge in unambiguous manner and having this knowledge understandable by machines becomes a relevant issue. W3C technologies are a solid framework towards "web for everyone", saving investments. Presentation at: http://www.w3c.it/talks/2007/vvc2007/ and http://www.w3c.it/talks/2007/vvc2007/vvc2007.pdf
