La cinta muraria e lo sviluppo urbano di Potenza nel XV secolo

The article discusses the history of the City Walls of Potenza in the Aragonese period (1442-1501) and how the construction of the defense system have influenced the evolution of the urban shape of the city. The research was conducted by integrating and comparing documentary and iconographic sources, the analysis of the urban morphology, based on aerial photos and cadastral maps, the study of architectural aspects.
