8th Report on the State of the Alps - Air quality in the Alps

The 8th Report on the state of the Alps was related to air quality in the Alpine region. The document includes a descriprion of the main characteristics of this area in terms of atmospheric pollutants and processes and reports the results of the analysis of the main pollutants concentrations. Starting from the state of the art and knowing which practices have been already adopted in this area to improve the situation, final recommendations to the policy makers are given in order to improve air quality in the Alps.
