Contributions to the knowledge of the mountain fauna of Malawi. 6. Terrestrial Isopods (Crustacea)

Twenty.three species of terrestrial isopods are recorded from Malawi. Thirteen species ( Arcangeloscia meridionalis, Angaribia flavicauda, Aethiopopactes longistilus, Eubelum simplex, Ignamba malawensis, I. jocquei, I. parvisulcata, Bethalus lineatus, Barnardillo montanus, Cubaris africana, Venezillo lacustris, Tuberdillo parituberculatus, Pseudodiploexochus tomentosus) are described as new. Armadillo egens Budde-Lund, 1904 is re-examined and placed in the genus Bethalus Budde-Lund, 1909. The distribution of all the species is given together with the composition of the oniscidean fauna of Malawi.
