Si-based polyacetylenes for gas separation membranes

In order to improve gas separation properties of poly(1-trimethylsilyl-1-propyne) (PTMSP), co-polyacetylenes of different composition, containing TMSP and two different comonomers bearing a silicon atom were synthesised and fully characterised. Moreover, information about the physical ageing of these materials were obtained by dilatometric analysis of cast films.
