The space and the man during the early middle age: from the perceived space to the lived space. - The aim of this paper is to focus on the space in relation with the medieval man , emphasizing the objective and perceptive aspects. The analysis of the relation man/space is required in order to study those spaces that medieval man felt as sacred space, space of the representation, rural space, urban space, interpreted constantly considering material and spiritual aspects.
