The questionnaire RSR-DSA has been designed to identify risk indicators and evocative signs of Specific Learning Disorders. It requires only parents and teachers observation. The questionnaire is not a diagnostic tool , but it shows behavioral indicators of DSA and then could represent an useful tool identifying children needing special care and attention from teachers. When the educational intervention, performing by teacher, does not improve the pupils scholastic abilities,
the questionnaire can suggest the opportunity to perform an expert evaluation in order to get a diagnosis. The questionnaire has already been assessed to a large sample of school age subjects (7764 cases, from October 2006 to January 2010). This wide employ has allowed to perform the normalization and standardization. A reduced form of the questionnaire has been used for the epidemiological investigation sponsored by the National Consensus Conference on DSA, started in September 2008 in Friuli Venezia-Giulia (SINPIA/IRCCS-Burlo-Garofolo coordination,2007).
