Contributo alla conoscenza dell idrofauna invertebrata e degli anfibi delle acque temporanee del Parco Nazionale del Gargano

- Updating of the macroinvertebrata and amphibians of the temporary pools of the Gargano National Park. The Gargano National Park is characterized by the presence of little temporary pools. They are different in shape and size, but also in anthropoid or natural origin. In this work we show the fi rst results regarding the hydrofauna composition (spring 2001 and 2004). We have chosen eight sites among the most representative. Altogether we have noticed 49 taxa, among which the bivalves Pisidium personatum and Musculium lacustre and the gastropod Ancylus fl uviatilis stands out. Amid the vertebrates we have noticed the amphibians Triturus carnifex, Lissotriton italicus, Pseudepidalea viridis, Hyla intermedia, Rana dalmatina. All these species are included in the "Habitats Directive 92/43/CEE".
