Time-resolved optical spectroscopy of the chest: Is it possible to probe the lung?

Conference Paper
Publication Date:
2013
abstract:
Monte Carlo simulations and preliminary time-resolved spectroscopy measurements were performed to investigate the feasibility of the in vivo optical diagnostics of lung conditions and diseases. Absorption and reduced scattering properties of the chest, arising from in vivo spectral measurements on volunteers are presented. © 2013 OSA-SPIE.
