Alessandro Geraldini, primo vescovo redisente della diocesi di Santo Domingo

Through a careful reading of the sources and finding an interesting collection of letters partly known but unstudied and unpublished part is reconstructed the political role played by cultural and above all ecclesiastical Geraldini in the New World and its relationship with the Indians, with the Emperor and the royal council and with the Spanish authorities present in Santo Domingo.
