Publication Date:
2004
abstract:
The technological properties and the chemical composition of the inlay wall facing ceramics of the Jamé Mosque in Esfahan (IRAN) were investigated. The inlay wall facing ceramics of the mosque are made of quartz-paste and clay-paste. The clay-bodies were found to less than homogeneous than the quartz-paste due to different type of supplying.
