Calix[4]arene based ligants as endotoxin receptors

abstract:
Three new calix[4]arene-based receptors as potential antimicrobial agents have been synthesized. Their recognition ability towards lipopolysaccharides of Gram-negative bacteria has been studied by NMR and UV titrations.
