abstract:
C20H17N3O2, M(r) = 331.37, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 12.619 (1), b = 8.285 (1), c = 16.469 (1) angstrom, beta = 94.39 (6)-degrees, V = 1716.7 (3) angstrom3, Z = 4, D(x) = 1.28 g cm-3, Cu Kalpha radiation, lambda = 1.54184 angstrom, mu = 0.647 cm-1, F(000) = 696, T = 293 (2) K, final R = 0.038 and wR = 0.049 for 2664 observed reflections and 294 refined parameters. The title molecule consists of three phenyl rings connected to the three N atoms of the biuret. Both intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds stabilize the molecular and crystal structure.
