abstract:
The construction project of the novel thermal neutron Brillouin spectrometer (BRISP) is entering its
commissioning period. After a brief review of the scientific motivation and the technical components of
the instrument, we present here a historical overview of the installation steps that have gradually brought
such a difficult project into the present important phase.
