Optical mammography: Characterization of malignant and benign breast lesions by a perturbative model

Benign and malignant breast lesions were characterized in terms of both absorption properties and constituent concentration by the use of a perturbative model. Differences between lesions and healthy tissue were observed. © 2014 AEIT.
