Some remarks on weighted Marcinkiewicz inequalities

Marcinkiewicz inequalities link up the Lp-weighted norm of a polynomial with a suitable quadrature sum. The authors investigate the case when the necessary and sufficient conditions for Marcinkiewicz inequalities, based on the zeros of the orthogonal polynomial, are not satisfied. Then they opportunely modify such inequalities, stating new necessary and sufficient conditions for the obtained inequalities.
