15th European Colloquium on Animal Cytogenetics and Gene Mapping (15th ECACGM).

This special issue is dedicated to the publication of the program and abstracts of papers (9 lectures, 23 oral communications and 62 posters) presented at the 15th European Colloquium on Animal Cytogenetics and Gene Mapping (15th ECACGM) which has been held in Sorrento, June 1-3, 2003. The presented papers focused the attention on the following field: Chromosome structure, Chromosome Evolution and Comparative Cytogenetics, Sex Chromosomes, Clinical Cytogenetics, Cytogenetics and Reproduction, Chromosome Nomenclature, Gene Mapping. A poster session summary, with the most discussed topics, has been reported too.
