abstract:
Bacteria in biofi lms grown on the soil-like 3D beads-&-fi bres nanostructured framework preferred colonising tiny fi bres and dangling in pores and cavities instead of laying on planar microbeads. Finally, they formed micro- and macrocolonies until a mature biofi lm with a thick coating.
