The paper reports on some early observations emerging from the study of two manuscripts held by the Diocesan Museum of Salerno: an Omiliarium in beneventan script and an Ordinarium datable to around the end of the thirteenth century. The comparative textual analysis of the two codices highlighted various elements indicating that both belong to the corpus of books created for use in the town cathedral.
