MyTeam: a collaboration tool for Small and Medium Sized companies

Today's businesses are characterized by a huge amount of data, which constitutes the corporate "knowledge". The knowledge is generated both from the data produced by the individual and the data provided by the collaboration within the company that is very important for the daily work. The management of these issues is not trivial and involves notable costs for the company. This paper describes MyTeam, a tool designed to address both the issues of the management of corporate knowledge and collaboration. My Team is distinguished from similar tools on the market by two main elements: the convergence of communication channels within a single instrument (My Team also includes information from SMS and social media), and the focus on user interaction; graphic interfaces that provide the user with the information they really need in relation to their search terms. Thanks to these characteristics, MyTeam enables companies to significantly reduce the cost of "knowledge" management.
