Anomalous Josephson Effect in Nanowires

abstract:
We study the Josephson current in a superconductor/nanowire/superconductor heterostructure. We show that in the presence of a strong spin-orbit coupling and applied magnetic field the system can support a supercurrent even when the phase difference between the superconducting electrodes is zero
