The article focuses on the earliest evidence of devotion to Our Lady of Bonaria in the 14th and 15th centuries, the most significant of which is the donation of a votive offering by Queen Eleanor, wife of King Peter IV of Aragon, in 1355. The oldest evidence relating to the miraculous properties of Our Lady of Bonaria in protection from the dangers of the sea, instead, dates back to 1418. In the concluding section, the article offers a few remarks on the object of worship in this sanctuary during the timeframe examined
