The genus Exalloniscus Stebbing, 1911 (Crustacea, Oniscidea) and its relationship with social insects.

abstract:
The relationships of species of the genus Exalloniscus from Malaysia with ants and termites are discussed. The genus includes 15 species, almost all associated with social insects. Exalloniscus maschwitzi is associated with migrating ants of the genus Leptogenys and they are transported by the ants on their pupae during the daily migration in the tropical forests where they live.
