Thin films of poly-3-(oxaalkyl)thiophenes by Langmuir-Blodgett technique

Poly-3-(oxaalkyl)thiophenes containing oxygen atoms in the side chains have been prepared having different regioregular structure. The behaviour of these materials at the air/water interface has been studied along with their capacity to form stable and transferable multilayers with Langmuir-Blodgett technique.
