Pd/Ag based Membrane Reactors on small scale: assessment on the high pressure importance and design parameters
Academic Article
Publication Date:
2010
abstract:
The antagonist effect of pressure on the thermodynamic equilibrium and the H2 permeation rate has been studied in a small-scale membrane reactor (MR) with no sweep gas. The influence of some design parameters as membrane surface area (Am), catalyst volume (Vcat), methane load in feed (Ls) and gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) on theMRperformance has also been evaluated.
