Continuous flow hydrolysis of phosphate esters using membrane reactor containg cyclodextrins

Academic Article
Publication Date:
2002
abstract:
ract Membranes of poly(oxa-p-phenylene-3,3-phtalido-p-phenylenxoxa-p-phenylenenexoxi-p-phenylene) (PEEK-WC) containing -cyclodextrin (-CD) derivatives (O-octyloxycarbonyl -CD and monotosyl -CD) have been prepared to investigate their catalytic behaviour towards the p-nitrophenyldiphenylphosphate (PNPDPP) hydrolysis. Membranes containing CD lead to very high reaction rate during the hydrolysis of PNPDPP. Best results were obtained using monotosyl -CD 2.5 wt.% containing membrane at pH 8. © 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
